"I wanted to let you know I scored a V: 157/ Q: 155 on today's exam. In August (one month ago) I scored a V:150/Q: 151 so I'm definitely excited about this improvement. I've been very emotional about this whole experience - going from highs of "I'm going to rock this" to lows of "I will never get into school." These scores get me within the range of some of my middle tier & safety schools and validate the work I've put into preparing for this. However, since I'm so damn close, I am going to take one more shot at it in November. More importantly - thank you for all the support. This is a very lonely process but you guys make it so much less lonely and overall easier to deal with."
Rosie, Online GRE, Denver"Thank you both for your support! It has helped me so much. Happy with the score and really appreciative of your skill and patience as tutors.
Quant: 46, Verbal: 45, IR: 8 Total: 730" Abby, GMAT student from Seattle"It is so easy to read online about GMAT horror stories and storm trooper candidates who wake up taking cold showers while reciting pie to the 100th decimal. But being taught by current students has eradicated this perception completely. Interacting with our instructors has been an awesome experience; it really reminds me of why I am going through this process and I am inspired to see normal (extraordinary, but normal) people in a place where I hope to be soon. In summary, the student teacher interaction has helped inspire confidence in myself and reminds me to keep the big picture of the GMAT in frame."
John, GMAT student from Seattle"THE GRE WENT SO WELL I AM SO HAPPY WITH MY SCORE AHHHH THANK YOU SO MUCH. 161 Verbal, 150 Quant! And the quant is a miracle because they sent me to the super hard math section which was lol. Thank you so much for everything, seriously!!!"
Sheila, GRE student from Seattle"Four stars -- I like the instructor's availability, the information and access to additional materials and the structure of the clsas. To be even better, the price should be decreased. Although it's not worth the amount of money I paid, I still recommend the class for someone who's been out of school for a while. More than anything, I got a reality check out of it, meaning I didn't realize just how much I needed to study to get the score I want. This class really helped me put together a realistic study plan, gave me access to another resource that I found extremely helpful, and I was able to network with other potential MBA candidates which was fantastic."
Another Mystery GMAT student"Five stars -- the course provided valuable insight to strategies, problem solving and better understanding the test. The instructor went out of her way to accomodate my work requirements. I am a categorical learner and breaking down the sections helped organize my strategy. However, I think there could be a 1-2 consolidated review sheet for each section. This will help memorize the necessary formulas and strategies.
I would tell future students to do as much homework as possible. Also, I would tell them that the classroom environment with collaborative learning really helps to understand different approaches to the same problem." Will, GMAT student from Seattle |
"Estee (founder and tutor) was a life saver. I really needed help studying for the quantitative section of the GMAT and she developed a plan for how to tackle it within my budget and timeline. The practice, coaching and tips she gave me were invaluable and I actually felt prepared on test day. My quant score ended up even higher than my verbal and I got into my #1 school with a scholarship based on my 730 score! I would highly recommend."
Sophie, GMAT student from Seattle"I did alright! 154 on quant and 164 on verbal. And I know I did better on the writing too. Feels like I hit about my potential... Your tutoring improved my quant score by 5pts in about two weeks! Thanks so much for all your help."
John, GRE student from Seattle"Charlie was an excellent tutor... he was very attentive and responsive to my concerns and weak areas. His tutoring method was very clear, additionally he created outlines and plans for my self-study which I believe were very helpful for my improved score of 110 points in just one month! I would give him a 10/10. I am very pleased with your services, response times, and results."
Michael, GMAT student from Seattle"Gina and Won are AWESOME! I really appreciated that they were patient, helpful, and explained the problems and solutions very well. The tips and strategies on tackling certain types of problems were helpful as well."
Joe, GMAT student from Seattle"Five stars -- the technology used by PrepCorps really made it easy to engage with other classmates and the tutors. I really felt like we were all together in a classroom. The tutors effectively used this technology to clearly go over the lesson plans. I would definitely recommend PrepCorps to other busy young professionals looking for GRE assistance."
