  This session will be built based upon the needs of the students in the class to circle back and cover previous material and/or practice solving problems together.  We will also circle back to test taking strategies to discuss now that we know more about your learning and your strengths.

Qualified Instructors

Stephen holds a MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Washington and has been teaching reading comprehension, writing, and ESL for the past eight years. He has a 168 on the verbal section of the GRE and truly enjoys helping his students achieve the best score they can on the test. Let’s do some reading!

Eshan graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with majors in Economics, Plan II Honors, and Asian Cultures and Languages. Eshan has a 336 combined GRE score and has been working with students for four years, tutoring subjects from French and Spanish to his favorite, economics. He is super excited to help others reach their academic goals!
After returning from the Peace Corps, Estee earned her MBA at UW Foster.  Simultaneously she started a thriving NGO in South America that deliverers literacy and leadership training for children.   She scored a 770 on the GMAT, and is passionate about  helping you reach your goals and chase your dreams.
Piper majored in physics at Pomona College, where they had the opportunity to be a course TA or "mentor" every semester since their freshman spring. They also independently tutored mathematics and ACT/SAT preparation throughout high school and college. Piper has a 340 combined score on the GRE and is looking forward to helping you develop the techniques and skills to increase your own score!
Drew is a CPA with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from UNH and a master's degree in philosophy from St. John's College.  After teaching mathematics for 18 years, he is earning his PhD in mathematics education from UW.  His GRE scores were 169 for verbal, 168 for quantitative, and 5.5 for writing, and he scored in the 95th percentile on the LSAT.  What excites him most about PrepCorps is the opportunity to help the education effort in Paraguay and helping applicants conquer fears around math.  You can absolutely understand it, enjoy it, and succeed!
Eileen graduated from Bowdoin College and is now a graduate student at the UW's School of Aquatic and Fishery Sciences. She researches how anthropogenic stressors (such as climate change and pollution) impact shellfish in the Salish Sea. She is currently Partnering with Puget Sound Restoration Fund to study the effects of ocean acidification and warming on endangered species to help ongoing restoration efforts in the San Juan Islands. Her GRE scores were 166 for verbal, 168 for quantitative, and 5.5 for writing. She is looking forward to helping you reach your goals!
